About the Artwork
This artwork is inspired by a special tale of Bridlington folklore in East Yorkshire. Bridlington folk are known as 'Bollington Jackdaws' after puzzled workmen repairing the Priory Church observed a clever Jackdaw pull straw through a hole in the masonry giving them a solution to their problem.
