Stampy’s Story

Stampy’s Shop takes its name from our family surname, Stamp, and reflects our passion for creativity, and unique designs.
We chose to set up shop in The Market Vaults, Scarborough, because of its distinctive character and atmosphere. The historic setting perfectly complements the clothing, artwork, gifts, and glow-in-the-dark products that make up our collection.

As a husband-and-wife team, we both come from creative backgrounds and share a passion for art and design. Simon’s background is in print and visual design, and he’s been running a glow-in-the-dark business since 2007, creating and selling products that bring a little extra colour and excitement to everyday life. Hannah is an artist and printmaker. Her art is rooted in the various facets of folklore and local history, taking inspiration from stories discovered during her degrees in Art History, Heritage and Archives.

Today, Stampy’s Shop brings together our love of art, coastal living, festival culture, and unique finds. Whether you’re looking for standout style, vibrant artwork, or the perfect gift, we’re passionate about offering products that help people express their individuality.
